Lord's Floral Creations
Floral & Garden Workshops
We provide horticultural services for both public and private organizations. These workshops and events promote the use of the creative art of Flower Arranging in which participants learn how to arrange fresh flowers mixed with silk flowers to create a centerpiece using the pattern of the cross (because it all starts at the cross) in it's design shape. Arranging flowers provides the individual participants the opportunity to express themselves creatively and independently making floral arranging activities ideal in senior centers, nursing homes, adult daycare facilities, afterschool programs, fundraiser events and as an entertaining party idea. In addition to it's versatility, floral arranging offers the benefits of Horticultural Therapy, which promotes mental wellness and has a positive effect on an individual's mood.
Horticultural Therapy programs provide individuals with joy cultivated by their own floral creativity that brings about a smile to all when they see and display their accomplishments. We provide the supplies and instructional technique participants need to produce their very own individual basic floral centerpiece. Our garden workshops teach how seeds planted reproduce after it's own kind when planted in good soil, as well as our lives becoming a seed of good or bad habits that will produce a harvest of it's own kind as well.
Among other activities, we took part in one of the events of the "Grandmothers LOV (Love Over Violence)" organization, imparting a Floral Workshop held at NYPD 101st Precinct. This is a very special group of women that have a positive influence on the community.

Lord's Floral Creations was founded in 1987 as a retail flower shop, and proceeded to venture off to serve
the senior population and afterschool programs, by instructing basic flower design.
These workshops are accompanied with music and lesson plans that follow a seasonal theme.
If you are interested in having a floral workshop at your facility or if you are interested in
